This Election Day, Nebraskans will decide whether 33 judges keep their current roles or end their terms on the court.
Attorneys with the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU of Nebraska, and Faegre Drinker litigated the case to victory.
The decision at the state’s largest university comes amid a nationwide wave of efforts to defund or outright ban similar programs in colleges and universities.
Nebraskans who are at risk of being denied a vote this year are suing Nebraska’s top elections official and the Douglas and Hall County Election Commissioners in hopes of ensuring they will have a voice at the polls this November.
LINCOLN, Neb. – A new decision from the Nebraska Supreme Court means that the state’s 12-week abortion ban and restrictions on young transgender Nebraskans’ medical care will remain in effect.
