Today the ACLU of Nebraska won a lawsuit in federal court on behalf of their clients Paul Gillpatrick and Niccole Wetherell who are Nebraskans incarcerated in state correctional facilities. The Plaintiffs have been engaged since 2012.
The Crime Commission has released Traffic Stops in Nebraska as its most recent summary of data covering 428,249 traffic stops reported for 2018. Data reported describes the race of the driver, the reason for the stop, the outcome of the stop, and whether or not searches were conducted.
